Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Toledo Walk

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Team Susan Kenny – Thank you all very much! #EndALZ

Over the past several months; I received hundreds of calls and emails from people around the world! Sharing stories, thoughts and prayers!

I set a lofty goal of $10,000 for my first ever fundraising campaign! This was the first time that I have ever reached out to my network for a cause!

We had more than 400 people donate to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

We has more than 50 people and at least 5 dogs join Team Susan Kenny” for the walk!

We produced more than 150 shirts and hoodies with QR codes for donations and the Twitter hashtag for Alzheimer’s #EndALZ.

We raised more than $12,000 so far!

At the time of the walk, we had the largest team and raised the most money!

Thanks to an amazing group of family, friends and professional colleagues!

The Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association did an amazing job with more than 1,500 people an $100,000 raised at the start of the walk.

I’m looking forward to seeing the final number after everything has been collected and accounted for.

Mom and Dad,

Thanks for coming out! I know it was a tough day for both of you, but happy that you came!

Thanks for coming up from Florida for the walk!

Thanks for coming out and bringing your boys (Ty and Austin)!

All my friends, family and professional colleagues; thanks so much for your support!
